Owner's Representation

Nexant undertakes a significant range of activities on behalf of facility owners and operators who are considering energy-related capital projects and/or shared savings proposals. Our representation may include presenting project plans to internal accounting and management personnel, specifying the scope of walkthrough or detailed energy audits, developing bid packages that include equipment specifications, conducting bidder conferences, analyzing bids and recommending bid selection, supervising project and construction management, overseeing commissioning activities, and providing measurement and verification of the results of performance contracts.

Owner's engineering may also include design assistance for new construction and major renovation projects, commissioning of new equipment or whole facilities, and assistance in achieving LEED or Energy Star certification.
