Nexant grid operations and power system analysis software is used by some 150 utilities worldwide. It is heavily used within control centers for real-time security analysis, optimization and planning studies. A new software product OutageWorks™ addresses the need for online outage scheduling and coordination, and its evaluation subsystem is a breakthrough innovation for automating the process of evaluating outage requests.

Nexant also provides software solutions for customer management. In particular, RevenueManager™ is an add-on to a utility CIS/billing system to manage more complex and flexible rates, such as those derived from interval meter data. TrakSmart™ is Nexant's enterprise software solution for managing a utility's demand side management (DSM) activity, as a centralized repository of all data and processes and including third-party vendors.
