Better Results, Better Experience: the Benefits of a Tiered Trade Ally Network

After more than a decade of managing Rocky Mountain Power's Trade Ally network, we recognized the need to raise the bar for our network to improve customer experiences, increase the quality of trade allies, and deliver more cost-effective savings for the program. In 2017, we deployed a new tiered trade ally network that increases minimum network participation requirements and encourages quality in all aspects of program participation by offering “Premium” trade ally benefits. Key considerations for developing this approach include proper planning, realistic goal setting, and clear communication. Brace yourselves for a smaller, but more effective network!
