LIGHTING EFFICIENCY OUTREACH COORDINATOR—CHANDLER, AZ

Nexant's Energy and Carbon Management business unit is currently seeking a lighting efficiency outreach coordinator in our Chandler, AZ office (metro-Phoenix area).

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading outreach and coordination efforts with lighting equipment manufacturers, distributors, vendors, and contractors in Arizona in support of Nexant's implementation of utility energy efficiency and incentive programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading efforts to coordinate members of Arizona's lighting industry and supporting the sales and installation of advanced design and high-efficiency lighting systems in non-residential customer facilities
  • Providing education and training in lighting best-practices
  • Maintaining formal networks of lighting industry players in support of utility energy efficiency and incentive programs
  • Reviewing proposed lighting upgrades/designs for appropriateness and eligibility for utility incentives
  • Conducting site visits to verify installation and operation of baseline and replacement lighting systems

Experience and Education

  • An engineering degree with at least three years of experience in lighting efficiency; candidates without an engineering degree who have additional years of experience in the lighting industry will be considered
  • Excellent oral communications, writing, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • P.E., CLEP, CLMC, and/or LC certification is desired
  • C.E.M. or LEED AP certification (or on track to receive) is a plus
