Company Will Demo New System for Utilities at EEI Annual Expo
San Francisco, CA---May 26, 2009---Nexant, the global energy software and consulting firm, today announced the release of a major upgrade of its TrakSmart® solution that enables electric and gas utilities to manage an integrated portfolio of demand side management (DSM) programs.
With TrakSmart, utilities can manage the entire DSM program lifecycle—from defining business rules, processing enrollments and applications, and paying rebates to assembling complex programs and tracking performance metrics. TrakSmart’s integrated central database and business intelligence reporting system represent an industry breakthrough—empowering users to report progress, analyze the performance of DSM activities at the enterprise level, and effortlessly drill down to program, project, or measurement levels.

Nexant will demonstrate the new software at the Edison Electric Institute’s Annual Expo in San Francisco, CA between June 23rd and 25th.
Utilities and state agencies have the option of using TrakSmart as either a delivered system to be deployed onsite at their facilities or as a hosted service for supporting their business processes and tracking cost/benefit performance indicators related to energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy, low-income weatherization, outreach education, or any other DSM-related program.
