Daniel Miller Named Nexant CFO

San Francisco---December 24, 2008---Nexant, Inc., (www.nexant.com) the global energy software and consulting leader, announced today that Daniel J. Miller has joined the company as chief financial officer. Miller will direct Nexant's finance, accounting, and information technology corporate service groups, and will also lead the financing and investment initiatives to support Nexant's strategic growth plans, overseeing both investment and capital raising activities as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Miller brings over 20 years of professional finance and accounting experience to Nexant, most recently as senior vice president and CFO of NebuAd, Inc., developer of digital media and marketing solutions for online advertising. He began his career as a senior accountant with Deloitte & Touche, subsequently serving as senior treasury manager for Genentech, Inc. and corporate controller for Extreme Networks, Inc. before moving on to more senior roles.

Miller is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree from John Carroll University.
