SCOPE® is a powerful, advanced package for analyzing electric power system network operation. It is the world’s leading optimal power flow installed at more than 150 utilities and power generators globally. SCOPE can be used in all phases of power system network engineering, from deregulated energy markets and real-time control, to long-range planning. The package includes power flow analysis, a network topology processor, contingency analysis, switching control, and security constrained OPF. It uses an AC or a DC (MW-only) network model.
