From our many years of software implementation experience, we’ve found that the best results are obtained by first discussing and analyzing each client’s specific requirements. That enables us to evaluate the extent to which our products will meet your requirements, or whether, for example, special models, objectives, or power system constraints may need to be incorporated.
This analysis process includes evaluation of:
- Your intended engineering or trading applications
- Your company's role in the use of the software (utility end user, marketer, EMS vendor, integrator, consultant, etc)
- Your relevant hardware and software environments (including workstations, LAN, WAN, operating systems)

Nexant licenses its software in two ways:
- Perpetual license—requires payment of a one-time fee, which includes a one-year warranty. An optional annual maintenance and upgrade contract is available after year one.
- Annual license—requires payment of an annual fee, which covers the license, maintenance and upgrades.
