About the project

The new ANM platform is being deployed at UK Power Networks in collaboration with Nexant and Smarter Grid Solutions and is directly enabling several "apps" on our network. In addition to Active Response for the project, ANM is facilitating active reconfiguration and the use of power electronic devices providing flexibility, and supporting the Net Zero revolution by unlocking new capacity for electric vehicles (EVs).

The growth of Net Zero ready technology will have a significant effect on electricity distribution networks and the uptake has been more rapid than expected. There are already more than 90,000 EVs registered in UK Power Networks’ three licence areas and this is predicted to rise to 3.6 million by 2050.

Join us on Tuesday, 17 November 2020 at 3 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), to learn how we’re facilitating Net Zero by using world-leading software to maximize network capacity.
