Webinar Series: Managing and Optimizing Distributed Energy Resources (DER)

The grid is undergoing a rapid and substantial transformation, most notably with the increased installation of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) such as photovoltaics, wind turbines, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. With the introduction of DERs and microgrids, the grid no longer operates with a unidirectional power flow - bidirectional flows are becoming more prevalent as local generation surpasses load.

This series will feature three different webinars. You will learn how to evaluate various DER technologies and  their impact on managing and operating the grid.  We will discuss technology characteristics, economic aspects, and impacts on distribution networks.
