Engineer, Certified Energy Manager
Jacob James currently provides technical consulting to commercial and industrial clients for Nexant’s Utility Services business unit and resides in Portland, Oregon. His core technical competencies include HVAC, process heating, and fluid process systems. He provides technical consulting to commercial and industrial clients, and assists with utility-funded energy efficiency programs throughout the country. Jacob has more than seven years of experience as an energy efficiency and renewable energy engineer. Currently, he performs facility ASHRAE Level I, II & III energy audits, writes technical reports, and conducts energy efficiency outreach. Jacob is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and earned a BS in Renewable Energy Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology in Wilsonville, Oregon.
